March 2009 State Court Brooklyn Supreme Court: Obtained an acquittal in a criminal possession of a weapon case. The Client was facing 7 to 15 years. Three witnesses identified the client as being in possession of weapon. The gun was recovered. After devastating cross examinations and a well presented defense, the jury found the client not guilty in just 71 minutes. The deliberation time included lunch! That makes 3 acquittals in a row with less than 3 hours of deliberations total, with lunch!
November, 2008 (State Court: New York County/Manhattan Supreme Court): Obtained acquittal where client was indicted for criminal possession of a handgun and criminal possession of marihuana. Client was driving a car in which an unregistered handgun was found in the trunk and a bag of marihuana was found in the car console. Jury deliberated fewer than 45 minutes before acquitting client of all criminal charges.
October, 2008 (Federal Court: Eastern District of New York): Obtained acquittal where client was indicted for importing, delivering, and conspiracy regarding over $100,000 worth of heroin. Indictment was based on a controlled delivery where federal agent posed as Federal Express delivery person and client signed for package containing heroin. Jury deliberated fewer than 2 hours before acquitting client of all charges.

It has been a few months since we last talked. There are truly no amount of "thank yous", no possible words, nothing on Earth we could possibly do to thank GOD for sending us one of the BEST lawyers in Brooklyn.
In March of 2007, my boyfriend was arrested. We met with a legal aid who gave us no hope, a day later we met with a lawyer recommended by a friend who just didn't make us feel comfortable and then GOD lead us to Samuel Gregory who gave us all the hope in the world. After visiting with Sam we were sure that receiving an acquittal was possible. For the first time in several days we were able to eat and sleep. Mr. Gregory is by far one of the hardest working, dedicated and resilient lawyers in New York State.
